KellyKelly Clarkson became the personification of the American Dream when she won the first series of American Idol. Apart from touring regularly and recording numerous Top Ten singles, releasing two albums with multi-Platinum status, acting as a mentor on multiple singing shows, and writing or co-writing much of her material and has won a respectable number of awards. She has been awarded Four American Music Awards as well with twelve Billboard Music Awards. Two Grammy Awards and three MTV Video Music Awards. There have been 98 nominations to major awards for her music, and seventy of them have been given.
