Amber Benson bio
Amber Benson (born April 14, 1970) is a famous American actor, performer as well as a writer and director. Her most famous role is being the character Tara Maclay from the TV Series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Benson is also the director of her films Chance, Lovers Liars & Lunatics and was the leading actress in those films. She was also part of the film Kiss the Bride. Benson was born on January 8, 1977 in Birmingham Alabama, daughter of Diane Benson and Edward Benson psychiatrist. She has a younger sister Danielle and has a career as an artist. Benson was brought up in a Reform synagogue in the name of the Reform Jewish mother and Jewish father. Benson, who has been involved in numerous TV and movie shows in the years since Buffy finished up, including The Killing Jar.
