Arianna Huffington

Arianna Stassinopoulos Huffington (Greek American) is a Greek American writer, syndicated-columnist and businesswoman. She's co-founder and chief executive officer of Thrive Global, as well being the author of 15 books. Arianna Huffington is a writer and television host, as well as philanthropist and also the proprietor and editor of The Huffington Post. Originating from Greece she relocated to England when she was sixteen and then graduated from Cambridge University with an MA in Economics. The infamous debating society The Cambridge Union was her first presidency and she did it when she was 21. The Huffington Post also included other AOL brands such as Engadget AOLmusic Style list and Patch Media. Elli Stasinopoulos was a daughter born to Konstantinos a management advisor and journalist. Although she was a close friend to her father, it was the relationship she shared with her mother which shaped her character. She displayed leadership qualities even in her early years. At the age of 16, she moved to Britain to pursue her studies and was enrolled in Girton College Cambridge. While in college she joined Cambridge Union, a college debating club. Being the third woman president and the first foreigner she held the position of head of the Cambridge Union. She graduated in 1972 with an advanced degree in Economics. She became a writer, a critic as well as a host on TV and columnist upon her graduation. The appearance she made in Face the music with Bernard Levin was a notable one. She started writing books, taking his help for editing.
